Forodhani Gardens

Forodhani Gardens is a public park along Stone Town's waterfront, facing the House of Wonders and the Old Fort. During the day it is a verdant space perfect for relaxing with a magnificent view of the Indian Ocean. From 6pm, the park transforms into a lively street market: grilled seafood, Zanzibari pizza, samosas, mishkaki (skewers), sugarcane juice... A cultural meeting place where tourists and locals gather, with the unique atmosphere of "HABIB WELCOME TO ZANZIBAR — ZANZIBAR HAKUNA MATATA!"
