Nakupenda Beach

Nakupenda Beach — whose name means "I love you" in Swahili — is a magnificent beach off the coast of Stone Town. Just 30 minutes by boat, it is a white sandbank surrounded by turquoise crystal-clear waters. The beach appears at low tide and can partially disappear at high tide, giving it an almost magical quality. The water is calm, warm and ideal for swimming and snorkelling.
