Safari Blue

Safari Blue is a full-day boat excursion around the Menai Bay Conservation Area, a protected marine zone off Zanzibar's south-west coast. Depart from the fishing village of Fumba aboard a traditional wooden boat. The circuit includes snorkelling stops at colourful coral reefs, a visit to an isolated sandbank, and the highlight: a Swahili barbecue lunch with grilled fish, lobster, squid and tropical fruits on a small island. Afternoon: exploration of a giant baobab, hidden mangrove lagoon, then return to Fumba.
